How can I create a custom control type for use in step templates?

Thanks for getting in touch! Currently there is no option to do this in Octopus. Would you be able to clarify what control type you are after?
Currently we have Single-line text box, Multi-line text box, Drop down, Checkbox, Sensitive/password box, A previous deployment step name.
As shown on the Step Templates documentation page: http://docs.octopus.com/display/OD/Step+Templates
Is there something else you think should be added? Let us know.
