Will this syntax work as a conditional for a step?

Hi Michael,

Thanks for getting in touch! This is not quite how our Variable expression field works here. This box expects only a True/False string. So if the variable #{Tenant.CreateNewStore} evaluated to True, you could just place the variable in there as is without the = True.

We have a documentation page which covers this in detail which is worth checking out.

If you have any questions here or need a hand, please let me know.

Best regards,
Daniel

We’ll try that!

The documention on this topic is very confusing to say the least … which is why we posted a question here.

A follow up question. May steps be “grouped” together and treated as a unit with respect to a run condition variable?

For example, we have three steps in a process totaling 8 steps. The first three steps are all skipped if a certain variable is true. So it would be nice to be able to set a run condition for the three steps, as a group.

UPDATE: I found child steps but do not want rolling deployments. Can I use the former without the latter?
