What are the different permissions for Technical Manager and Administrator within the Octopus Control Center?

I’m unable to find documentation on what exactly is Technical Manager at the subscription level? Our goal is to limit the number of admins, but we need to understand what each role does.

The main difference between a technical role and an admin role is:

  • Admin Role authenticates to all Octopus Servers in the group as an admin user
  • Admin Role is allowed to access and manage billing
  • Admin Role is allowed to modify users in the subscription group

Technical:

  • Authenticate to Octopus Server as a User
  • View and Manage Cloud Configurations

  • Renames Subscription Group

Admin
