Is there a recommended method for deploying real time virus monitoring on a server hosting Octopus? Or is there a recommended set of paths or files that you should not monitor in real time?

Thanks for getting in touch. There are generally two groups of folders you should ignore:

  1. The Octopus program files which are stored in C:\Program Files\Octopus Deploy by default on x64 systems.
  2. The Octopus data folders: https://octopus.com/docs/administration/server-configuration-and-file-storage#ServerconfigurationandFilestorage-FileStorageFilestorage
