In this example, I would expect the new release would have version 1.1.5.11348.
Instead, it presents the version of the latest package + 1.

We recently updated to “Octopus Deploy 2.0.13.1100”.
With version “Octopus Deploy 1.6.3.1723”, we did have the expected behavior…

We made a change in Octopus 2.0 to go with incrementing the previous release number as a default. But we’re going to make this an option on the project in our next release:
