Using an Alias for connection string to AG listener

Hi,

I’m moving our database onto a new SQL 2016 server. I’ll be using an availability group, which has a listener set up.

Will there be any issue using an Alias [set in cliconfg] in Octopus Manager, which then points at the AG listener?

There should be no problems using the setup you have described. We have some more information about Octopus and using SQL Always On and AG listeners here
