Tentacle Seems to fall asleep during long running processes

We have recently updated our deployment so that they include kicking off a PowerShell script which can take over 3 hours to run. I have noticed that the tentacle seems to fall asleep during this time. The PowerShell script will complete but the tentacle will not move on or even register that it completed until an other deployment hits the tentacle. Then it will “wake up” register the PowerShell completed and move on. I was wondering if this is a known problem and if there is a way to prevent the tentacle from sleeping during long running processes.

I tried to reproduce this with some long running (3 hour) tasks and couldn’t get the behaviour you’re seeing. Is there anything else that might be happening in that time ? A tentacle restarting, any network issues etc ?
