Template Deploy Package don't work with old .asp file

Hi,
I have an old asp application tha is being deployed with octopus.
The process consist only Step Deploy Package in custom directory folder.
At the end they are just .asp files.

The problem is don’t update a files in custom directory folder.

In the zip packages and in the “\Octopus\Applications\OctopusDeploy\TEST\NewAgeAsp” the file is updated correctly, i have tried the deploy several times withoyt result.

However if i deploy .net core applications i have no problem.

Any idea?

Would you mind sharing your deployment logs and your process JSON? That should give me some more insight into what’s going wrong here.

Hi Gennaro,

It occurred to me it could help to have instructions on how to retrieve the logs and the JSON.

To retrieve the process JSON, you navigate to Projects > Process > Click the 3-dot menu > Download as JSON.

To get the raw task log, follow these steps:

  1. Select the deployment/task that you’re having an issue with
  2. Select the Task Log tab
  3. Click RAW to display the raw log
  4. Click DOWNLOAD to download the log to a text file

Thanks for sending those over.

I recall you said your custom directory isn’t getting updated. Could you confirm that D:\Adev\newage is the directory that you’re targeting and is not getting updated?

After further investigation, the problem was at the build level.
The source path of package it was wrong.
