Teamcity package timestamps

The timestamp shown for packages from our teamcity feed is off by 2 hours

So if it is currently 10am and the package was just built on teamcity, it will show as 8am. All other times are reported correctly (i.e. time of the release itself is fine, time in teamcity for the package is correct as well)

I assume this comes from timezone issues, I am in UTC+1+DST). So I guess it shows the UTC date ??

Hi Harald,

What timezone is your TeamCity server running in?

I also have a feeling that it’s due to timezones and that we might not be translating it correctly in the UI.

Thanks,
Henrik

Helo Henrik,
The Teamcity server is also running in UTC+1 Berlin (+DST)

Best,
Harald

Hi Harald,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I had a couple of days off last week.

We’ve been investigating this issue, and as I thought, the published date we get back from TeamCity for the package doesn’t specify the TimeZone information and so the time gets incorrectly translated in our UI.

Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do to rectify this issue in our UI as we can only go by what we receive from the source of the package.

My apologies for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

Thank you and best regards,
Henrik
