We are a very large organization with a distributed development corps. We use AD to control Release and Deploy permissions via teams. As a result we have many teams within Octopus that are linked to AD groups. There is currently no way to search for a Team in Octopus. This should be a very easy piece of functionality to add and would be very beneficial for larger organization such as our.

We are currently in the middle of a big front end re-factor for Octopus 4.0 that includes much better UI and vastly increased searching facilities so stay tuned for that. 4.0 is due for release this quarter and is progressing nicely, so it shouldn’t be too far away.
