We’re using TeamCity and Octopus 1.6 to do our production deployments.
When I go to promote a release using the Octopus UI, I get the opportunity to enter some comments, which I have been using for release notes (since not all releases are promoted to production, we need cumulative release notes on the actual deployment task). See screenshot for the field I am talking about.
We’ve been generating these release notes with TeamCity, and I’d like to use the plugin to promote the release, but octo.exe does not seem to have a way to pass in comments. Am I missing something?
