Revert project process to a state from older release

Hi, could you tell me what is the easiest way to revert (or compare) process definition between the current process and a process from the same project inside a previous release?

We have made some changes that I would like to revert.

Would be handy to have this built-in although I understand it could be difficult and not a priority.

Hi Arnaud,

Thanks for getting in touch! While Octopus doesn’t have a built-in way to revert to or compare against previous releases, our audit feature may help you. Changes to your deployment processes, variables, and other events are recorded, including who made the change and when. You can find your audit in your web portal under Configuration > Audit, and you can show more details to see what exactly has changed. Refer to my screenshot as an example. Would this help? Check out our documentation for more info on auditing as well.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Kenny

Hi Keneth it never occurred to me that I could filter the audit-log to find this information.

Usually it’s hidden by all other recurring activities.

It’s far from perfect but it’s a great start for me.
