If our release process requires taking our website down and we want to do the deployment to production over the weekend or in the middle of the night how can we make use Octopus to make sure we have got approval before the release is deployed to production?
Do we need two manual steps? One for the business and one for the person actually on duty while the software is deployed out of hours?

Thanks for reaching out. If you wan’t business to approve the deployment during the week, and then have someone from the ops team actually trigger the deployment during the weekend, having 2 manual steps would be the way to go. One pro about this method is that you’ll get an audit entry with the name of the approver for each manual step. That way you’ll always know who was involved in your weekend deployments.
