Octopus Service issue

Team,

before the request could begin: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it [::ffff:]:10933

in the above case sometimes octopus is running and it is not accepting the connection at times octopus service is in stopped state even though in service recovery . so my question is this, since you have a service account on every box with admin access why cant we have a octopus process task to restart the service via remote powershell ?

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh, thanks for reaching out.

We have a process called Service Watchdog that I believe will do what you are looking for: https://octopus.com/docs/administration/service-watchdog

It will monitor the Octopus Deploy services and restart them if they fail.
