I would like to suggest an Octopus Notification Service.
The idea is to be able to opt in to receive messages (email) when certain events occur in Octopus.
These events could be a
- Any Deployment finished (with Checkboxes for Successful and Failed to filter)
- A tentacle is not reachable
- A deployment project changed
With these notifications in place, it would be easier to have a team who can manage deployment and make small changes but have one person who oversees the overall environment without having to frequently check the status of the environment and the deployment projects.
