Octopus Deploy within Kubernetes

Hi,

Im looking to deploy OD to Kubernetes. In the documentation it says:
“You understand Octopus Deploy is a stateful, not a stateless application, requiring additional monitoring.”

What is the additional monitoring i need to consider? It doesn’t really go into anymore detail?

The wording is meant to convey that it’s recommended you implement monitoring on the Octopus instance if uptime and availability are important to your organization.

For example, the Octopus web portal provides a health-check API endpoint that you can ping (typically from a load balancer):
