Move project from one database to another

Is there a clean way to move a full project (process, variables, etc) from one Octopus database to another?

Thanks for getting in touch! What version of Octopus are you using?
We have two methods, one is via octo.exe and the other is via the Migrator if you are using 3.x.


If you are using 3.2+ we have a small bug with importing and exporting project channels that should be fixed in the next release.

We are using 3.2.19.

Hi Matthew,

The best bet then would be using the octo.exe export/import feature. We are releasing a version today that fixes it for channels.
There are some limitations like having environments already pre-configured in the destination server, but it will run you through that.
