The output of the “Pretty” task log maintains indentation, which is useful for reading formatted yaml or json dumps. However the raw log, including the downloadable one, seems to trim the start of every log entry, removing leading spaces.
Could this be made more consistent? I’d prefer to keep indentation in the raw log as well, without having to resort to workarounds like replacing spaces with periods, which ends up cluttering the pretty log.

Unfortunately this isn’t something that I can see getting on our radar anytime soon, as the effort/reward ratio doesn’t seem to stack up for us on first pass. You are more than welcome to raise a UserVoice requesting the change, however unless we get a significant number of votes I don’t see us implementing this one.
I know that’s not the answer you’re looking for, unfortunately we have to balance our available engineering effort against the features that we, and our customers, will get most value.
