When a user is not logged in and they attempt to access a deep link (say, to a release page), they are not redirected after logging in–they go to the Dashboard. It would be nice if the login process redirected them to their intended destination.
We have some Production approval users coming in to Octopus infrequently and it adds friction for them to need to click the release link we send them, log in, and then click the link again to end up at the release (and, since they don’t log in often, remembering how to work around the issue gets a little harder). We’ve advised them to use Remember Me to mitigate the issue.
