We are looking into hosting two Octopus servers, each handling deployments of the same software - one server will handle production deployments and the other will handle CI and Test. Is there a way of synchronising the configurations/etc on these Octopus servers? For example, make changes on the server which handles CI and Test and (once tested), migrate up automatically to the Octopus server which works with production deployments.

It explains what is currently available as options for data sharing. We have an RFC for a new feature out in the wild that explains what we would like to do: https://octopus.com/blog/remote-release-promotions-rfc
But it will not be started at least until the end of the year as it requires some other features to be completed first.
