How to configure SQL database and File System backup for Octopus deployment project

I need to take SQL database and file system backup before the actual octopus deployment. I am using octopus 3.2.21 version. can someone let me know the procedure in doing it.

We have a documentation page that you can use to determine what you need to backup to ensure that all your Octopus data is properly backed up.

My apologies, I misread your question.

To backup the SQL database before a deployment we have this library step template and for the file system backup we have this library step template that you can use.
