How may projects does my Octopus server tolerate

Hello,

We are soon growing out our Team license of Octpus on both number of projcetcs (46) and users (55). So we should probably soon upgrade to Enterprise edition. I guess one Octopus server should be able to manage many more projects and users that that but like to get convinced about our scale up strategy.

How many users, tentacles and projects does large Octopus customers have on one server?
If growing to big, can (and should) the same license be used on two Octopus servers?

Thanks for reaching out. We have customers with thousands of Tentacles, Projects and Users. If you are currently managing numbers lower than 100, you’re probably gonna be alright for a very long time :).

Regarding if we after all want to create several Octopus servers. Can we use the same Enterprise license on both?

Hi,

Each license allows you to have up to 3 simultaneous Octopus Server instances. As long as you are using no more than 3, you can use the same license on all of them.
