How do I change in the tentacle manager the thumbprint of the octopus server?

Hello,

In the Octopus tentacle manager configuration, I am looking to change the thumbprint of the octopus server where the incoming requests are accepted by the listening tentacle. To do this I need to be able to modify the thumbprint for the Octopus server in the tentacle manager. I do not see any editing functionality in the tentacle manager where I can edit the thumbprint and save.

How do I achieve the changing of the server thumbprint the tentacle manager?

Hi Rohan,

Thanks for getting in touch, unfortunately there’s no way to change the trust list from that UI. You can either:

  1. Delete the Tentacle instance, and then re-install it
  2. Modify C:\Octopus\Tentacle\Tentacle.config and change the value there, then restart the Tentacle service
