A while back, a colleague who has since left set up an SSH key pair account on Octopus, and used that account to connect to some Linux deployment targets.
Is there any way to access the private key used to create the account, in a similar way to how we can access AWS and Azure account settings through variables?
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately accessing SSH account settings via variables currently isn’t supported. We have an open GitHub issue to add SSH key pair type variables (along with uesrname/password and token types) which you can track at the following link.
Sorry it’s not better news for the time being! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns moving forward.
