I just updated to the 2.6 version of Octopus and when I deploy my site it skips all of the files as if they were unchanged, but they have been changed. I am guessing that some sort of change you made in 2.6 to make FTP sync work better has made it not detect files as being changed properly.

Thanks for getting in touch! Which version did you upgrade from? We didn’t make any changes in 2.6 for FTP, but we did make a change back in 2.5.11.
So we need to confirm if it was that change or something else as a place to start.

That was probably it then. I haven’t done an FTP deployment for a while now. We use a tentacle to deploy to dev and FTP to deploy the sites to production in Azure.

FTP to Azure is flaky at best.
