Executing SQL Script

Hello,

Currently we have integrated Redgate to provide us SQL Compare scripts, we need to download the scripts and run it in Microsoft SQL Server., is there any way that I can octopus directly executes the SQL file in the SQL server without manual intervention

Thanks for getting in touch! We have some wonderful step templates in our library (written by the community) that are available for use. A couple specific ones that might be exactly what you’re after are SQL - Execute Script and SQL - Execute Script File.

You can install these step templates directly in your web portal and configure them as needed in your project. You can also modify the source code if needed at any point. :slight_smile:
