Does Octopus support MFA (Multifactor Authentication)?

We will be integrating Octopus with Azure AD for authentication and authorization. There is a requirement to also implement MFA.

Can anyone please confirm whether MFA can be implemented in Octopus?

Rahul

Hi @rahul.bhoyar

Octopus does not have internal MFA, but within the integration for AzureAD all the necessary security will be handled through Azure natively. In the documentation I linked we do break down configuration, as well as SSO usage.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards

Hi Sean,
Thanks for responding. Does that mean, If we are able to integrate Octopus with Azure AD, can we use Azure AD’s native feature for enabling MFA?

Rahul

Hi @rahul.bhoyar

That is correct. It is the way most of our customers use MFA on their instances, either using Azure or one of the other authentication methods we integrate with.

Sean

Thanks Sean for the information.
