Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry we haven’t added info into our documentation for this enhancement yet. I’m going to add this information to the following page soon.
You can define folders and files to the exclusion list when the purge option is enabled. Your package will be extracted, and before the extracted files are moved to your location, the directory will be purged as normal, but retain the files/folders in your custom installation directory that you have defined in the exclusion list. See my attached screenshot showing an example.
