Disabled step still runs

I added a slack notification step, which is failing while I wait for our slack team to hand over a webhook. So I disabled the step - but it still tries to run, and causes all deployments to fail (even though the actual deploy steps are succeeding). I disabled the step a couple of days ago, and it’s still run in the two environments I’ve deployed to since then.

Hi Andrew,
Welcome to the forum.

Its likely that you will need to create a new release after changing any aspect of your deploy process so that it sets a new snapshot of your project.

If you are unfamiliar with how this works we have an older blog post which covers this:

If you can try that and retry your deployment it should hopefully work for you.

Ah yes. The process is stuck to the releases. I forgot that, thanks.
