Deployment to multiple environments

Hi Team,

I have a release deployed in dev environment. Now I want to deploy same in automation test environment which will be available during night to run the nightly runs. I want to ensure the same release which is deployed in dev gets triggered to automation test post that environment is available. Is there a way within octopus which identifies a release in octopus environment and feeds that release to my trigger to deploy it to next environment as per my choice?

Thanks for getting in touch!

You should be able to achieve this with a scheduled trigger.

When configuring the trigger, you can specify to use the latest release and then set the source environment to Dev and the target environment to automation test.
