Deploy getting stuck with no error after copy

I have an existing project which has started having issues deploying, and I’m not aware of any changes that could have caused it.

The deploy to the server (Windows running IIS) is getting stuck after it copies the files. The last message in the log is “Copied 450 files”. I left it for 2 hours (not realising that it hadn’t completed in that time) and nothing changed.

If I cancel the task and try again it still does the same except that the last log message is about the BeforePostDeploy.ps1 file already existing and not being overwritten.

Do you have any ideas what could be happening?

Nevermind, I restarted the whole server and it resolved the issue!
