Deploy a Release Timeout

We are experiencing timeouts when running the “Deploy a Release”:

Transaction ‘UpdateDeploymentHistoryJob|41c79db1-b691-4b6d-8e1e-12fad6703a56|T134’ Closed with

SQL Error -2 - Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. | The wait operation timed out.'.

This happens occasionally and blocks some of our builds.
Questions:

  • Any idea what root cause might be ? is this a known problem, or is it only related to our database size / deployment.
  • Is it possible to set the execution timeout for “Deploy a Release” in version 2022.4 ?
  • Any other ideas on how to work around this issue ?
