Default PowerShell Script steps to use v7

Is there any way to make Octopus use PowerShell 7 (Core) as the default when running PowerShell Script steps?

I know it is currently possible to configure individual steps to run on PowerShell Core using the “PowerShell Edition” feature. We would like to make v7 the default rather than Windows PowerShell as it is currently.

Ideally this would only apply to newly created steps but even changing the default globally for existing steps would be helpful.

Sadly, this isn’t a global option at this point in time. I would suggest submitting a feature request on our Roadmap site for further consideration.
