Custom step template drop down list not saving selected value

I have a custom step template with a parameter with type of drop down. When I select a value and save it and come back to view it I see that the first option is selected.

I’ve tried using this format with and without a display value:
0|value1
1|value2
2|value3

I included a video.

Note: I am on Octopus 3.0.9.2259, but it seems the bug was introduced in 3.0.x

It works now. Looks like I just needed to do a hard refresh.
