Hello, documentation states the following steps

Variable substitutions in Cloud Service configuration file (.cscfg)
Substitute variables in files (if configured)

I would like to get more information on “Substitute variables in files (if configured)”. I have a configuration file that needs to be altered before Cloud Service package is deployed. Please let me know.

Also, the link for DeployToAzure.ps1 is broken. Thank you.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting touch. The “if configured” is mentioned because each of those actions is configurable as part of your Octopus Deploy process. Take a look here for more information about configuration files.
