Created a subscription for “Certificate expiry events” group, and added a self-signed certificate (created with makecert) with expiry in 4 days, but not receiving any email notifications.
What to check? Can I find more detailed diagnostic logs for subscription processing?

Certificate expiry notification events will trigger at 20 and then 10 days before expiry, then on the day of expiry, so it looks like your 4 day window falls between the 10 and 0 day expiry windows.
