Calmari with .net 2.1?

According to this support article Issues deploying to Centos6 using self contained Calamari , it requires Centos 7 (and presumably RHEL 7 or greater due to .net core 2.0 requirements.

However, it appears that Microsoft has added RHEL 6 to the supported OS’s if using .net core 2.1 based on the article below (still Centos 7 though, which is odd). Any chance of a new agent built against .net core 2.1?
