Build before deployment

Hi,

We don’t have a build server but we do wish to use Octopus.
I wrote PowerShell that makes NuGet from my solution, but I didn’t find a way to run the script as a step in the process.
The only way I am thinking of doing it is installing an agent on the server host and run the step only on this agent.

I really don’t want to do it… is there any other way?

After further reading I guess that the answer is no and I should install the agent on the server machine:

Thanks for getting in touch!
As you have correctly identified, to run any steps on the current Octopus Server installation you need to create a tentacle instance on that same server.
