Bootstrap not running for deploy to azure step

What governs when the bootstrap script runs / whether the $OctopusAzurexxx vars are available? Rather than deploy a service I need to run a script to push some stuff to blob storage and figured why not use the ‘deploy to azure’ and leverage the octo cert and such however the bootstrap script doesnt kick and if i pull it in to the custom script section none of the octo vars seem to come in such as '$OctopusAzureModulePath’

Thanks for reaching out. Could you share us one of your deployment logs so we get a better understanding of what you’re trying to do?

There’s a chance that this cant be done on the current Octopus version, but it will be supported on upcoming versions (3.1 most likely).
