2022 Licensing changes

Does any one know if the 2022 licensing changes affects how kubernetes targets are priced, or is this priced the same way as before the change?

Hi @asavinykh,

Thanks for getting in touch, and great question! Admittedly it’s one I can’t find a clear direct answer to. I’ve brought this question up internally so I can make sure to give you precise correct information. I’ll let you know any updates, and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns in the meantime.

Best regards,

Kenny

Thank you Kenneth, looking forward to your answer!

Hi @asavinykh,

Thank you for your patience. I have heard back from my colleague over night (as we’re on opposite sides of the world ). We have decided to back out of the proposed changes to Kubernetes target pricing and it is back to how it was before, e.g. a Kubernetes target is a cluster + namespace. Additionally you are able to overwrite the target namespace in the deployment process, in case that helps.

Please let us know if you have any follow up questions or concerns!

Best regards,

Kenny

Thank you Kenneth, this definitely answers the question!
