Hello since today I see on the octopus dashboard this warning “Your Octopus Deploy installation is not compliant with your license. You will be prevented from performing certain key activities until this is rectified.
Your Octopus Cloud subscription allows maximum retention policies of 30 days. You currently have retention policies that exceed this limit and have been prevented from performing key activities, like creating and deploying releases.” When I saw that I changed the retention policy of my lifecycles to 15 days. However the warning does not go away and I get an error about the retention policy when I try to deploy. Any suggestions ?

Thank you in advance

I found the solution retention policies should also be applied to packages

Hi Pxinos,

Sorry to see you have been bitten by this bug.

Could I please know your instance name?

I will need to sync up your license on our end to reflect the change.

I look forward to your reply.

Kind regards,
Ziaul

I am experiencing the same issue as the OP.

Additionally when I updated my lifecycles retention policy, I get an “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” at the top of the page and cant apply the change.

Thanks

Hi @jmccain and @pxinos,

Both of your instances should be working correctly now. :slightly_smiling_face:

Please let us know if that is not the case or if you have any questions.

Regards,
Donny
