Hi,
We are upgrading from version 2.6.5.1010 to version 3 on new servers.
I have 2 octopus deploy servers 1 active and 1 passive so we can do a quick failover if 1 fails.
When i try to deploy something i get this error:
•You are using the enterprise version of Octopus Deploy, which only allows 1 active node. You currently have 2 active nodes.
is the only solution to remove the passive node from the database ?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. Inside the Octopus SQL DB is a table called OctopusServerNode, and there should only be one record in this table. The records are identified by a node ID which is the machine name. What does your table look like? If it has more than one entry, you’re gonna have to remove the line of the node that is not active at the moment.

Thanks,

Dalmiro
