Will Octopus be affected by this .NET update

Hi Octopus

We were recently affected within cloud services by this change from Microsoft:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4470809/sqlconnection-install-throws-error-dot-net-4-6-after-recent-net-update

Will Octopus be affected if the same update is installed on server machines?

Hi Leslie,
Thanks for reaching out. We don’t believe this update will affect Octopus as we don’t read the SQL connection information from the App.Config file.
