What permissions does a team need to approve a manual step

I have a Developer Team and an Operations Team.

I want the Operations team to be able to promote a release from Staging to Production. But I don’t want them to be able to approve a Manual Step.

I want the Developers to be able to approve a maunal step (on the production deploy) but not be able to promote that release from staging to production.

My problem is that unless I make the Developers “Project Deployers” they can’t see the details of the release when it is pushed to production.

Hi,

What version of Octopus are you using? We fixed a few issues in 2.3 which should mean that anyone with project viewer permission that is in the list of approvers can now see and complete the manual step.
