Web deploy non purge directory not working

Hi Jeremy,

Haven’t talk to you for a while. Hope you are doing all fine.

I got a quick question. I set up 2 environments, like DEV and QA, and want to deploy to them together. The two env/targets are set up the same way, but when create new release, it unable to include QA one, as shown in the screenshot. Any thought? Thanks!

Hey John,

I’m doing great. I hope you are as well.

To deploy to two environments at once, you will need to create a custom lifecycle in Library->Lifecycle.

You can match my logic below. Basically you want both environments to be in the same phase.

Then when you go to deploy the release, you will click the “DEPLOY TO ALL” button.

Please let me know if that works for you or if you have any questions.

Just a quick heads up, it won’t cause you any headaches this time since I am working, but in the future for new issues it might be safer for you to open a new thread as I wouldn’t want your ticket to be lost in the void while someone is on vacation or something like that.
