Web deploy customizing app_offline file

Hello,

I am using the web deploy step to deploy my application to Azure Web Sites (Apps).

Whenever I do a deploy there is a blank page with the page title “Site Under Construction”, where is this file generated and can I modify it to put up a more friendly message? I am not sure if this question is technically in the realm of octopus deploy or a microsoft question in regards to MSDeploy. I apologize.

Thanks for reaching out. Not in the realm of Octopus indeed, As a general rule we just deploy whats inside of the NuGet package, and nothing more. This link seems to show where this file comes from:
