Warn in powershell step

I tried using the method described in these two posts http://help.octopusdeploy.com/discussions/questions/3725-flag-a-step-with-a-warning http://help.octopusdeploy.com/discussions/questions/3551-powershell-script-to-trigger-warning however it does not reproduce the warning behavior that I see when one of the native octopus steps produces a warning. The main difference is that the output category still shows as error and the output is in red. A full error output is also written rather than just a message. I want to be able to just output a warning message and have it show in the proper category in the output. TIA

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch! In both cases that you have linked, the workaround worked for their needs. But it was never going to take an error or even a warning and treat it correctly as in the end it’s just a log message of a kind, and not a step failure/warning mechanic. This is not a feature request we are working on, but maybe it would get some traction over at UserVoice if you add it as a suggestion.

Thanks!
