Variables scoped to a deleted environment are deleted without warning

I recently deleted a couple of environments, after moving the hosts in them to another environment.
The project variables that were scoped to the deleted environments also seem to have disappeared, without warning this would happen.
Fortunately I can find and recreate them from the release snapshots, but it would be more friendly to require the user to modify the variable before allowing delete of the environment.

Thanks for getting in touch and reporting this. You are correct that isn’t a very friendly way to remove project variables when deleting an environment.
