Variable set seems corrupt after importing a project from another space

I have exported one project from one space and imported into another space.

The variable set of the source project already existed in the target space and was already configured for that space. All the variables now have extra entries from the source space variable set…

When I want to edit this variable set (to delete the source space’s values), I can not do anything with it. Octopus gives an error “An item with the same key has already been added. Key: 7b899b08-0c07-14a1-7606-1ec8b825759d”. Whatever I try, I cannot edit/delete any variable from the set.
