Using a wild card SSL certificate with the Octopus server?

We have a wild card SSL certificate (*.ges-invest.com) issued by https://www.gandi.net/

This certificate have been working but after the latest update of Octopus we now receive a warnign that the certificate is invalid because the hostname does not match.

The configuration of the Octopus Server is to use hostname “octopus.ges-invest.com” and the wildcard certificate ("*.ges-invest.com"). The warning we get is “Mismateched Adress”.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

/Joakim

Hi Joakim,

Could you send through screenshots of the error you are seeing and also the bindings for your Octopus instance in the Octopus Server Manager UI, not sure why you would be getting that error as we use wildcard certificates for our own Octopus instances.

Thanks,
Henrik
